Historic Walking Tour of Newtown

Join the NHA for a Historic Walking Tour of one of the areas of Newtown on Friday, June 14th at 6:30pm – weather permitting.

The tour will begin at the Half Moon Inn, 105 Court St., Newtown, and will be lead by Jeffrey Marshall, President of the Heritage Conservancy. Mr. Marshall has over 40 years of experience in historic preservation and land conservation. He is the author of “Bucks County Farmhouses” and numerous other books regarding Bucks County history. He is on the Board of Directors of the National Barn Alliance, Board Member and Past President of the Historic Barn and Farm Foundation of Pennsylvania, President of the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association, a board member of both the National Barn Alliance and Preservation PA.

The tour will feature architecturally significant Newtown buildings in the Borough. And Jeff will share his wealth of knowledge, passion for the history of Newtown and provide an enjoyable stroll through town while doing it!
