General Meeting

March 20, 2023 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

“Favorite Things” from the collection of Kevin Kerchner

Local antiques collector, Kevin Kerchner, will be sharing his favorite things from his extensive collection of antiques. For those who have attended Kevin’s previous talks, you are well-acquainted with the quality, uniqueness and craftsmanship of the items in his collection. His collection spans the 17th and 18th centuries and contains a wide range of examples from the everyday life of the people living at the time. As Kevin has done in past talks, he will also show some interesting “what is it” items to challenge the audience.

Kevin Kerchner is an avid collector of early 18th century furniture and decorative arts. He has been collecting since college when he started attending small auctions in Illinois where he grew up. His interest in history, the provenance of special pieces and over forty years of collecting have led to his outstanding personal collection.

Please join us for Kevin sharing his favorite things or as he’s joked, those exceptional things that he’s planning to take when he down-sizes! This event is free and open to the public and will be held at the Half-moon Inn on Monday, March, 20, 2023 at 7:30 PM.
