Event Navigation
On Friday evening, June 12th, take a guided walking tour of historic Newtown with Jeff Marshall, historic architecture author, past-president of the Heritage Conservancy, and NHA Board member. Learn about Newtown’s architecture and history while getting in some steps for the day.
The tour route is typically determined by Jeff and the attendees, and will feature architecturally significant Newtown buildings in the Borough. Jeff will share his wealth of knowledge and passion for the history of Newtown, and guide an enjoyable stroll through town.
This event is open to the public. You do not need to be a member of the NHA to attend. A $5 donation to participate would be much appreciated. Payment can be made on the day of the tour (cash or online via QR code). All donations help defray the maintenance and operating expenses of the Newtown Historic Association.
Come, bring a friend, and learn something new about Newtown’s interesting buildings and history. If you have any questions, please contact the NHA at (215) 968-4004.
By attending NHA, or NHA-related, events and activities, you allow the Newtown Historic Association (NHA) to record or photograph you during your attendance and to use these images for promotional and archival purposes on any medium for an unlimited period.
