Real Dirt on Real People: Looking at the not-so-nice historical characters in Bucks County’s past

We often look back at history with a capital “H” and forget about history with a small “h”. People were people. The presentation will reveal everyday facets of the lives of 18th and 19th century Bucks County residents. It will include looking at the not-so-nice historical characters in Bucks County’s past.

Jeffrey Marshall, President of the Heritage Conservancy, will be sharing these stories and answering questions. Mr. Marshall is the author of “Bucks County Barns” and numerous other books regarding Bucks County history. He is also known for his historic walking tours of Newtown for the Newtown Historic Association.
