Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with an action-packed day of exciting and educational events throughout Newtown. The day will include a Revolutionary-era skirmish outside the Bird in Hand, an Edward Hicks reenactor at Newtown Friends Meeting House, a Civil War band at the Newtown Theatre, a reenactment of the Doan Gang’s robbery of the Bucks County Treasury, historical displays at the Half-Moon Inn (Court Inn), antique fire trucks and equipment at the Newtown Fire House Museum, lobby exhibits at the First National Bank & Trust Company, Hessian prisoners and graveyard tours at the Old Presbyterian Church, and more!
