Tavern Night Silent eAuction – OPEN NOW!

February 26 @ 8:00 am - April 8 @ 11:55 pm

The Newtown Historic Association invites you to take part in our Tavern Night Silent eAuction, a special online fundraiser supporting the preservation of Newtown’s history. While the auction is being held in conjunction with Tavern Night, bidding is open to everyone—members, non‑members, attendees, and those cheering us on from home. You do not need to attend Tavern Night to place a bid.

The Silent eAuction includes a curated collection of unique items, including:

  • Fresh spring arrangements to brighten your home
  • Homemade pies and pickles, crafted with local flavor
  • Tavern‑themed items inspired by 18th‑century life
  • Craig Hackett prints, including nature and regional scenes
  • A striking portrait print of Abraham Lincoln
  • A collection of estate jewelry

New items may be added throughout the auction period, so check back often.

By bidding, you help preserve Newtown’s historic sites, protect local artifacts, and support educational outreach that keeps our shared heritage alive.
