NHA Annual Meeting

Newtown Historic Association Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Newtown Historic Association will be held on Monday, April 18th at 7:30 PM at the Half-Moon Inn, 105 Court St., Newtown.

The Annual Business Meeting will be conducted and will include election of directors and officers for a new term. Also, there will be a review of the organization’s events over the past year.

Following the Annual Business Meeting, the program will be: “Treasures from the Archives.” Mary Jo Garner and Keyna Crawford, both members of the NHA Board and lifelong residents of Newtown, will be sharing items that were used in celebrations from years past. Come and see the things that Newtown residents, especially the women, used for their festivities.

This event is free and open to the public. All are invited and you do not have to be a member to attend.
